Health Assessments

Health assessments provide important baseline data, which helps to identify and prioritise areas of risk among employees. Results can be used to formulate health and wellbeing interventions, targeting areas of risk, or evaluate a programs success.

Basic, Advanced, Premium or Executive

Corporate Bodies International offer a range of assessments; Basic 15 minutes, Advanced 30 minutes, Premium 1 hour and comprehensive 2.5 hour executive screenings. Completing over 20,000 assessments each year our experience is extensive. The standard assessments are based on our professional knowledge of health risks, however CBI can work with you to tailor an assessment specific to your organisations risks.

Strictly confidential and performed by a university qualified health professional, our assessment options cater for a variety of health and wellbeing needs. From a quick 15 minute health screen giving a snapshot of health heart disease and diabetes risk indicators to a comprehensive 2.5 hour health assessment for executive staff completed by a GP.

All of our health assessments include a questionnaire that can be completed online or via paper prior to the appointment. Depending on the level of assessment the following components are included:

  • personal profile (demographic and work arrangement)
  • lifestyle profile (smoking, alcohol, sleep, nutrition and physical activity habits)
  • medical profile (cancer awareness, cardiovascular disease and diabetes risk)
  • mental health profile (risk of stress, depression and anxiety)

The biometric and physical measures taken during an assessment vary depending the on the level chosen and include: weight, body fat percentage, waist measure, blood pressure, cholesterol (including full lipid profile), non fasting glucose, posture, flexibility, core strength, skin cancer, lung function, hearing and vision.

Resources and follow up

During each assessment, the participant is provided with a health passport, relevant factsheets and feedback, aimed at improving their personal risk profile. If an individual is deemed to be at ‘high risk’, the individual is referred to their own GP for further investigation and management.
