Did you know?

The flu virus thrives in workplace environments, costing Australian businesses 1.5 million working days each year. Affected employees will be absent for an average of 3 – 5   days with lowered productivity lasting for up to two weeks.

The solution

Flu vaccinations are a cost effective method of preventing productivity losses at work. CBI provides a comprehensive flu vaccination to organisations Australia-wide.

This includes:

  • centralised coordination and dedicated project manager, who will ensure:
  • the provision of marketing and promotion materials to aid vaccination uptake
  • access to online and phone booking services if required
  • vaccinations are administered by an accredited immunisation nurse, who is strongly committed to infection control
  • post-vaccination care card and a lollipop.

The annual flu vaccination season runs from March to May. Each year a different vaccine is created based on the most common strains at that time. The influenza vaccine does not contain a live virus and cannot give you the 'flu'.
