CBI Goes International!
In June 2008, CBI officially went international with the commencement of our work at Lihir Gold in Papua New Guinea. Lihir Island, 900km north east of PNG’s capital, Port Moresby has commenced CBI’s Lifestyle Coordinator services. Lihir Gold’s total workforce totals 4000 – 2800 nationals and 1200 expats and their families.
The scope of CBI’s project at Lihir involves improving the health of all Lihir employees, as well as 36 local villages and the wider community. The program includes dining hall auditing, improving health awareness onsite, access to exercise facilities in-camp and outside of camp, weight management programs, exercise services and hospital medical referrals.
CBI is pleased to be working with such an enthusiastic team at Lihir with the common goal of improving health and safety of employees and the community at large.
