Corporate Bodies International Lauch our social media

In January 2012 Corporate Bodies International joined the world of social media with the introduction of an account on facebook and twitter. This will be a great way to interact with our clients and participants and allow you to stay up to date with the latest Corporate Health and Wellbeing information. You can follow us on twitter @CorpBodiesInt and on facebook "Corporate Bodies International". There will be regular competitions and health and wellbeing polls for you to take part in so start following us now.

Leanne Scanes Named a Finalist in the 2011 Telstra Business Women of the Year Awards

Leanne Scanes, Managing Director of Corporate Bodies International has recently been announced as a finalist in the 2011 NSW Telstra Business Women of the Year Awards (Marie Claire Young Business Women Category). The prestigeous award recognises the most talented business women in each state of Australia. Leanne will compete against 4 others for the award. The judges noted Leanne's commitment to Corporate Health and wellbeing, especially mens health. 

Corporate Bodies International supporting the Mining Industry

In July 2011 the CBI NSW team headed to the lovely Hunter Valley to attend the annual NSW Mining Industry OHS Conference. As per the past few years CBI provided financial support for the event via our workplace health trade display. Over 500 employees of the mining industry attended the event learning the latests in OHS as well as hearing from inspiration speakers such as Wayne Bennett.  CBI look forward to working towards a heatlhier and safer mining industry.

In August 2011the CBI Brisbane and Emerald teams headed to sunny Townsville for 4 days to attend the annual QLD Mining Industry OHS Conference. As per the past few years CBI provided financial support for the event via our trade display as well as Helen Scott (Emerald Office) presenting a paper. This year CBI also launched the 'walking bus' to encourage conference attendees to be physically active at the start of each day. This initiative supports our belief that workplace health should not just occur at work but at conferences and industry events. Over 700 employees of the mining industry attended the event learning the latests in OHS as well as hearing from inspiration speakers such as Steven Bradbury.  CBI look forward to working with the QLD mining industry to promote health and wellbeing.

CBI awarded Endeavour Energy Tender

Over the past 10 years CBI have successfully worked with many utility companies in their endeavors to improve workplace health. These companies include Western Water, Tru Energy, Delta Electricity, Energex and Epic Energy. In February 2011 Corporate Bodies International was awarded the tender to provide Corporate health and wellbeing services to Endeavour Energy (previously Integral Energy) across NSW. The initial program will involve 30 minute one on one Health Assessments for each member of staff, followed by a strategic review of core health issues. Healthy Breakfast for Miners

As part of the Kestrel Coal wokrplace health and wellbeing program CBI staff have been providing a range of fun and interaction workshops. Recently, CBI’s  healthy breakfast for underground workers, and healthy lunch for above ground workers was featured in several leading QLD newspapers. Click to read

Construction Industry Pilot Study

Since 2009 CBI have worked closely with the Builders Laborers Foundation of Queensland as well as the CFMEU in Victoria and South Australia  to improve health awareness of construction workers. The results of the recent QLD pilot study resulted in the establishment of a task force as well as a highly commended award in the Premiers Annual awards. Click to read more
