Staff at Corporate Bodies International are committed to helping local communities and charities via donation of time or financial assistance. Employees are entitled to 2 days paid charity leave per year to assist their chosen organisation.

Brisbane team support Prostate Cancer

The Brisbane team have been active in supporting prostate cancer research, hosting a fundraising morning tea and inviting several clients along. In addition the team recently attended the 2011 Construction Industry Prostate Cancer Fundraising Lunch.  It was a fun day of heads and tails, live auctions and interesting speakers. Pepita Szafranski - takes a second bite

For many people in our community, food insecurity remains an issue. With this in mind, Dietitian, Pepita volunteers with  SecondBite, an organisation which collects unwanted or excess, quality food in Victoria and Tasmania  which is then used to feed the less fortunate. Last year they collected over 880 tonnes of food that would have otherwise gone to landfill. Instead, 1.7million healthy meals were made to feed those in need. Jen Maxwell - lends a hand

Although the CBI offices in Emerald and Brisbane were spared from any significant damage in the recent devastating floods in QLD, many of the family, friends, and personal homes of our QLD team were not as lucky.  Our staff in Brisbane and Emerald, including team leader Jen Maxwell , lent a hand over many days helping out where ever possible. Leanne Scanes - is on a mission

Leanne is passionate about the environment and conservation and regularly volunteers her time to assist animal welfare charities. In 2010 Leanne travel to Thailand to film a documentary on the lives of working elephants and assisted in a rescue mission. The subsequent trek through the jungles of Thailand, including up to 9 hours walking in monsoon conditions, to free the elephant was captured on film and will be used to educate the community on key environmental issues.
